Ranji Trophy Plate Division

Tripura lose ground against Services:

Nov 5: Tripura lost ground from an advantageous position after Services took 212-run lead with three wickets in hand in their second innings at draw of stumps on the penultimate day of the four-day Ranji Trophy Plate Division match at Agartala today.

Services were 308 for seven when stumps were drawn on the third day with skipper Yaspal Singh remaining not out at 94 (198 balls, 4X8, 1X6) and Arun Sharma giving company.

On Day One, Tripura were in the drivers’ seat, bowling out Services for a paltry 102 and ending the day on 93 for one. But on the second day, the hosts batsmen had gifted their wickets to fold the first innings for 198.
