Innings defeat stares on Sikkim:
Rajkot, Dec 6: An innings’ defeat stared on Sikkim as they were 29 for two in their second essay after following on at the end of second day’s play of the three-day Vijay Merchant Trophy (U-17) Plate Group B League match against Goa at the Railway Ground here on Thursday.
The north-eastern team were all out for 135 in their first innings in reply to Goa’s 418 all out.
They were still trailing by 254 runs with eight second innings wickets in hand when stumps were drawn on the second day.
Goa would press for a win on the last day tomorrow.
