Archery academy at Tepesia Sports Complex!

PSPB officials visit Complex:

Guwahati, Dec. 7: The Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) will tie up with the Assam government to set up an archery academy at the newly-built archery range in Tepesia Sports Complex in Guwahati.

A delegation of the petroleum ministry, led by V.K. Bawa, also a PSPB joint secretary, on Thursday assessed the archery range and required logistics at the complex as part of an assessment tour. Sports director-in-charge Rajib Prakash Baruah and assistant director Jatin Borchetia accompanied the delegation.

Baruah said the location and infrastructure in Tepesia apparently pleased the delegation, which had detailed discussions with the state government officials.

“They will submit their observations to the ministry which will, in turn, take up the process to set up the academy with the Assam government,” Baruah said.
