Dibrugarh to host meet:
Dibrugarh, Dec. 11: The Junior National (men and women’s) Powerlifting Championship will be held here for the first time from January 6 to 10.
The Dibrugarh District Physical Culture Association, under the state Powerlifting Association and with the approval from the national body, will organise the meet at the old Government High School Ground.
Preparations are on in full swing for the tournament. Around 900 registered players from various states, union territories and organisations have confirmed their participation for the event.
