India eves lose 1-4 to Iran in AFC Asian Cup qualifiers
Oct 27: Indian national women’s football team, which has at least six Manipuris in the first XI, lost to Iran 1-4 in the away match in Tehran today and failed to advance in the next round of AFC Women's Asia Cup Qualifiers.
It was heart break for the Indians who had won 3-1 in Gurgaon on October 20 in the home leg of the Round One Qualification match.
Iran went through the second round on 5-4 aggregate.
