Nagaland beat Uttarakhand 2-1

New Delhi, Sep 4: Nagaland under-17 team on Thursday registered their second consecutive victory against MP Sports College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand in the Subroto Cup here.

Seoengdie (8th min) and Avilie (60th) scored for the Nagaland side while Shankar Dobhil found the target in the 21st min for Dehradun team.

Coming after a victory against Tripura (4-0) in their opening match, the Nagaland team continued with their winning momentum. They will now face Assam on Friday.

Meanwhile, Nagaland u-14 (sub-juniors) team, last year's runners-up, play their opening match against the winner of Group B on September 10.
