Assam shine in national taekwondo:
Guwahati, Sep 4: Assam won six medals, including three golds, in the 28th Junior National Taekwondo Championship held at Pondicherry recently.
Assam stood second in the championship which was held under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India.
The medal winners are: Nilufa Begum, Sanju Boro, Ajoy Basfor (all gold), Nandan Brahma, Mukul Basumatary (both silver), Rekha Ranee Gogoi (bronze).
