Meet starts on Wednesday:
Guwahati, Dec 17: The maiden edition of the North East Invitation Twenty20 Cricket Tournament for the Dhireswar Kalita Trophy will begin at the Nehru Stadium here from Wednesday.
The Bud Cricket Club-organised tournament will be a 12-team knock out affair in which a team from Manipur -- Manipur Police Sports Club -- will be seen in action.
Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre B team will play aganist Titan Club in the opening match at 9 am while on the same day Manipur team will meet New Star Club in the afternoon.
The final is slated for December 25.
