In my 20 years experience as sports journalist, I have seen Northeast India churning out innumerable world beaters for the country -- just like the beautiful lotus coming out of muddy waters. How would blogosphere receive the exploits of sportspersons from the seven (now actually eight) sisters?

May 28 Results:
Sikkim beat Bihar 5-1, Assam drew Madhya Pradesh 0-0, Mizoram drew Railways 1-1, Tamil Nadu beat Chandigarh 2-0, Jharkhand beat Uttar Pradesh 3-2.
